I started messing with AI video about a year ago. Runway first, because that's what everyone was using. Then Kling came out and the results were different enough that I needed that too. The thing that bothered me is that these platforms are reselling AI models you can access through an API for way less. They put a UI on top, charge you monthly, and add credit limits so you feel like you need a bigger plan.
